To improve scoliosis, it is essential to practice specific exercises daily. For an average of 30 minutes per day, 6 to 7 days a week, the patient should do a series specific to their case. The improvement of scoliosis depends entirely on the patient's dedication and effort in practicing the exercises daily.
When the patient becomes unmotivated, or has difficulty with discipline and skips the exercise days or does it too quickly, or even does the activity incorrectly, the scoliosis does not improve, or improves very little, and to avoid this failure we created online supervision.
The online motivational monitoring program brings together 10 patients per time on Zoom to do their daily exercise with the supervision of a physiotherapist to motivate and correct their execution, thus ensuring success in improving scoliosis.
It is always good to remember that in idiopathic scoliosis, adhesions of the ligaments, the joint capsules of the vertebrae and the meninges are enormous, in addition to the muscular asymmetry, with atrophy of the muscles on one side of the curvature and contracture of the same on the other side, and all of these changes need to be treated.
Scoliosis is an extremely complex disease that constantly progresses during the growth phase and whose origin is still unclear, but which improves greatly with specific exercises. Therefore, daily exercise is a great contribution of modern science to scoliosis and a fundamental part of treatment.
During the growth period, scoliosis can get much worse or much better, depending on your decision and dedication.
